Basketball rules

The Rules

Basketball is a team sport. Two teams of five players each try to score by shooting a ball through a hoop elevated 10 feet above the ground. The game is played on a rectangular floor called the court, and there is a hoop at each end. The court is divided into two main sections by the mid-court line. If the offensive team puts the ball into play behind the mid-court line, it has ten seconds to get the ball over the mid-court line. If it doesn't, then the defense gets the ball. Once the offensive team gets the ball over the mid-court line, it can no longer have possession of the ball in the area in back of the line. If it does, the defense is awarded the ball.

Holidays

In the holidays I did some skating with Charlie.We made an manualing pad on his driveway  it has an rap that goes up and down so we don’t land onto the grass.I was so happy with it I never thought that i could do that.My other friends that go to Tamaki is Kane and Mystic.

When I went to Charlie’s we went to go skating at our friends he is a man.He is a really good man his name is... Meka.We always go skateboarding it’s like my thing if I was an pro skater
I will teach others how to skate


When I sleped at Korobeau’s we had some downs and good times. Whenever we go out I let him play on my skateboard when he dosen’t have his.If your wondering where he lives he lives in Glenn Innes and he's street name is Salima Talangi.

Hi my name is Kamire And I like AFL. It is a sport that is really fun. I love playing this sport because it has other types of ways to pass. My classroom really enjoyed playing this sport. Sadly it was our last time playing this year because I’m a year 8 at Pt England and I’m heading off to college.

I want to stay at  Pt England school. I hope that the year 7s are going to have some new  experience next year.I’ll miss doing AFL again. Maybe they might even came to my college.
and that’s my sport and it is also named Kiwi kick

     
           The Indian in the  cupboard

               

Hi my name is Kamire, and I am going to talk to you about the novel called .........The  Indian in the cupboard, It is a really good story about a toy and a little boy named Omri that got a little small indian action figure for his birthday.

There is a little toy that can talk, and a boy who is called Omri who owns the Indian toy he got for his Birthday present. His best friend gave it to him for his birthday, This is an interesting story,It made me laugh and laugh, because the little Indian said you touch me I will kill ”. If I was  a  toy I would  let my owner pick me up and carry me.


When  we read on and on, we came to a part where Omri has a rumble with his bigger brother in the car, and they looked really messed up when they got to school, because Omri forgot he's swimming togs. When he got to school he saw his friend, and he talked to him about the little Indian.

This is a really big opportunity for me and why  I like  that story, and why I wanted to share this with you.

Weekends

Hay its me, Kamire, today I’m writing about the weekends.

In the weekends. I went to my friends house and to sleep over on saturday my friends name is
Korobeau Morrison he is my best friendwe skate  and have a little snake and movies. If we are allowed to watch movies but most of all we have lots of fun together and have a lot of food but when we have a talk we are so happy we are both excited to have more fun at his house and our friends house my  favorite food is butter chicken.

Art live

Ki ora my name is kamire weekends  i love to play with my friends.
we skate bord every weekends so we can get ready for the big
comp so if we need to be safe to put on safty pads.

Last Saterday  we had the comp in the city i loved it we done
lots of skating and playing we loved going down the ramps
we did tricks on to little bumps and hoped off....... ah I failed to go off the ramp
just then the comp started and i was so happy that it started.

 it was a fun day we finished with a ride back to glen innes on
the train.We went to Mc Donalds for dinner and
skated back home
and had a rest in my room.
